My journey includes more than 30 years and over 5000 hours of flying balloons across five countries, alongside commercial airplane flying for both scheduled services and charter operations.

My ballooning adventures have taken me to the USA, Canada, South Africa, Tanzania, and Egypt. Notably, I served as the chief pilot for the world-renowned Serengeti Balloon Safaris. Hot air ballooning is not just a profession for me; it’s a passion, and I am dedicated to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for all my passengers.

My USA FAA pilot’s license number is 2151598. This includes Commercial Balloon and Airplane certifications, an Instrument Rating, Multi Engine, and a Type Rating for Turbo Prop. The FAA mandates that balloon pilots have a Class 2 Medical Certificate, renewed annually for those of us over 40.
